Advent Window Walk
An advent calendar has come to life in the windows of historic homes in downtown Lancaster! Each night of December leading up to Christmas, a new window design will be revealed - one window per night. By Christmas night, 25 unique designs will be illuminated for viewing. Take a nighttime stroll through the downtown neighborhood to check out Lancaster's newest Christmas tradition, the Advent Window Walk.
Enjoy this year's new theme, Christmas Carols! Enjoy windows that display classics like, "We Three Kings," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," "Deck the Halls," and more!
Celebrate the New Year with the Glass Town Countdown!
Join your friends, family, and neighbors for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration! Come to downtown Lancaster for the Glass Town Countdown, a family-friendly street party where you can taste fantastic food and spirits at local restaurants and pubs. Watch the lighting and ascent of the giant glass globe at midnight and light up the new year with a spectacular fireworks show!
The globe will be covered with more than 500 ornaments. One of them could be yours! Create your own a glass ornament at the Ohio Glass Museum or buy one online or in-person!
